The Srixon ZXi5 Irons blend premium forged feel with impressive ball speed, forgiveness, and workability in a clean players-inspired shape. Featuring a moderate blade length and offset with a wider sole than the ZXi7, the ZXi5 delivers the confidence and added forgiveness better players want without sacrificing feel or control.
Srixon’s Condensed Forging strengthens key areas from the high toe through the topline, enhancing durability and feel. The ZXi5 also features a softened forged face designed to deliver an exceptionally responsive sensation at impact.
A precision-milled network of variable-thickness grooves, channels, and notches on the back of the face allows the ZXi5 to flex efficiently at impact. The design helps maximize energy transfer for increased ball speed and more consistent performance across the face.
Srixon’s Tour V.T. Sole combines carefully engineered sole widths, bounce angles, and notches to promote clean, efficient turf interaction. The design helps the club glide through fairway, rough, and sand while maintaining speed—even when contact is slightly heavy.
The 3–7 irons feature wider grooves optimized for longer shots, while the 8-iron through Approach Wedge use deeper, more closely spaced grooves to enhance spin and control. Laser milling between the grooves adds additional friction throughout the set.
Developed with input from Srixon’s Tour staff, the ZXi5 features a cleaner profile and slightly thinner topline than the previous generation. Its moderate blade length and offset provide a players-inspired look while maintaining additional confidence and forgiveness.
ZXi iron faces and bodies are forged by Endo in Japan, combining precision manufacturing with the premium feel expected from Srixon’s forged iron lineup.
The ZXi5 is an excellent fit for low-to-mid handicap golfers who want the look, feel, and workability of a players iron but don't want to give up forgiveness or distance. Compared with the ZXi7, the ZXi5 offers a wider sole, more offset, additional forgiveness, higher trajectory, and more distance while retaining plenty of shot-making capability.
