FLTD CG™

FLTD CG, or Flighted Low CG, is a revolutionary new technology that is changing the way irons are designed. FLTD CG strategically positions the center of gravity (CG) lowest in the long irons and progressively shifts it higher throughout the set. This precise mass distribution enhances launch and playability in long irons while providing improved control for scoring clubs.

Here's how it works:

• In long irons, the CG is positioned low to promote a higher launch angle and more forgiveness. This makes it easier to hit long irons high and soft, even on mis-hits.
• In scoring irons, the CG is positioned higher to promote a lower launch angle and more control. This makes it easier to hit scoring irons accurate and with spin, even on shorter shots.

The result is a set of irons that are incredibly versatile and forgiving. No matter what your skill level or swing speed, you can hit longer, straighter shots with more control using FLTD CG irons.

Individual Mass Optimization

The 2023 P•790 irons are the latest in a long line of groundbreaking irons from TaylorMade.
