Features of the Mizuno JPX 923 Forged Irons

435 Nickel Chromoly

The JPX 923 irons are crafted from New 435 Nickel Chromoly, which is 35% stronger than Mizuno's original Chromoly. This allows for an 8% thinner face resulting in higher ball speeds.

V-Chassis

Mizuno's all-new V-Chasis delivers a solid, satisfying vibration pattern through impact (even though the face is 8% thinner)

Seamless Cup Face

The JPX 923 irons feature seamless face construction, which delivers the deep center of gravity necessary for higher launch and optimal landing angles.

Extended Sole

The thinnest part of the sole is extended 18% wider, creating a bigger high-energy area for higher ball speed on more shots

Non-Reflective Finish

Mizuno's JPX 923 finish is non-reflective and chrome plated to reduce bright light glare

Quick Questions

What is the difference between the JPX 921 Forged and the JPX 923 Forged?

The JPX 923 Forged has gotten slightly stronger lofted and with a sleeker look. The JPX 923 Forged is noticeably smaller then its predecessor; it offers a thinner, more cambered topline which resembles more the JPX 921 Tour then it does the JPX 921 Forged. Also, the JPX Forged is available in Right-hand and Left-hand.

Which forged irons should I play?

JPX 923 Forged - The JPX 923 Forged are perfect for the low-mid handicapper (2-10) seeking a better feeling, better looking, faster version of the JPX 923 Hot Metal Pro.

JPX 923 Tour - The JPX 923 Tour are perfect for the low handicap player (0-5) who is looking for a tour proven iron shape that is sleek, thin, and responsive. The JPX 923 Tour irons are the ultimate players iron in the JPX line with some even comparing the top-line to the Mizuno MB's of old.
