2023 Cobra King Tour Irons

2023 Cobra King Tour Irons

Posted by Kelly on Feb 01, 2023

For 2023, Cobra Golf is introducing a new line of forged players irons: The King MB for the low handicap, high ballspeed player, The King CB for those who want to combine workability with a touch of forgiveness, and the Cobra King Tour iron for those who want to combine tour quality looks and feel of a forged player's iron, with the game enhancement of a modern iron.

Similar to the King CB, the King Tour is forged cavity back player's iron for those who prefer a slim top line in a compact clubhead, but can benefit from added forgiveness.  Additionally, the King Tour also includes a TPU insert for added vibration dampening and soft feel.

The King Tour is slightly more compact than it's predecessor, the King forged TEC.  This slightly reduced head size increases workability for more control of your ball flight.  Cobra's 5-step forging process creates an even more dense head for improved solid feel.

Important to the design of the King Tour is the undercut that Cobra milled out of the back of the club head.  This undercut creates improved perimeter weighting for an increase in forgiveness and stability.  Removing some of the head material allows the designers to reposition the weight lower in club head for improved launch and backfill the void with the TPU insert for vibration dampening.
