The raised steel mass area of the Houdini Sole at the rear of the clubhead reduces the amount of sole area to reduce drag and turf interaction.
The Houdini Sole is instrumental in significantly altering the Center of Gravity (CG) placement. The CG is 23% lower and 6% further back than the previous HL4 Fairway Metal, making E521 the highest launching and most stable (3% increase in M.O.I.) fairway wood we have produced.
The strategically placed heel draw-bias weighting of the E Series offset designs are engineered to help golfers avoid the right side of the course and to increase launch conditions.
Slice fighting technology in the offset E521 fairway allows the face to square up at impact for a straighter ball flight.
The super-shallow Cup Face design in the Hot Launch E521 Fairway produces higher launch angles and extreme ease of launch. The lofts offered in the E521 are higher than standard Game Improvement clubs on the market, including a 7, 9 and 11-wood.
Control Length shorter shafts are also ½ inch to 1 inch shorter than the industry norm, making the 3- wood length 42.5” for better accuracy, more percentage of center strikes and to max out Smash Factor ratings for the club head.
The E Series fairway comes stock with the same superlight FUBUKI metalwood shafts by Mitsubishi Chemical that range from 45-grams to 55-grams depending on the flex.
The extremely light FUBUKI metalwood shafts with lower kick points and lower cycles per minute frequencies that promise to help players achieve maximum velocity and to fight the fade to produce a longer, straighter and a slightly drawn ball flight
