The PING 1A was designed by Karsten Solheim in his garage in 1959 and it revolutionized putters as we know them. The unique design distributes weight to the heal and toe for more forgiveness on off-center hits and also creates a PING sound that gave the company it's name.
The classic style is accompanied by a bronze finish to add style. This provides a soft feel at impact and a timeless look.
