The Mizuno JPX921 Hot Metal irons replacing the JPX919 Hot Metal irons pair Mizuno’s fastest ever ball speeds with a piercingly straight, ball flight and controllable landing angles. Featuring Chromoly 4140M now the 3rd generation of Mizuno irons to utilize the softer feeling Chromoly materials - the JPX921 has the most complex face geometry to date for additional energy from the clubface. This new Pro version has a more compact profile with reduced offset with a smaller topline.
Mizuno's 3rd generation of designing and manufacturing irons with Chromoly and now taken to it's limits. A re-engineered CORTECH face, is now 0.2mm thinner across the center point.
A new variable thickness sole design allows the leading edge to act as a hinge which results in great face flex and ball speeds for increased distance.
3 additional sound ribs are added to to reduce vibrations producing a the most solid feel and sound of any Hot Metal Iron
The new pearl brush finish has anti-glare technology to minimize distractions over the ball
Extra perimeter weighting with toe bias creates extra stability from off center strikes making the JPX 921 Hot Metal product line the most forgiving irons ever produced by Mizuno.
